Woofstock Fest

The Woofstock Fest at Arcadia Creek Festival Place is a treat for the animal lover and his or her companion. At this one-day festival you can enter your pet into a variety of competitions like stupid pet tricks, an extreme make over contest, costume contest and puppy races. The fest has live music and an arts and crafts festival where you will be sure to find that unique pet accessory. You can even adopt a pet from SPCASWMI (The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animal of Southwest Michigan).

The fest takes place in Kalamazoo, a town rich in culture and picturesque scenery with rolling hills, historical neighborhoods, over 20 area golf courses, wineries, ski resorts, museums, theaters, dining and shopping. Activities include fishing, swimming, skiing, sailing or boating in one of Kalamazoo’s 83 lakes.

The event starts at 10 a.m. and goes until 12 a.m.

You don’t have to be Italian to experience the excitement of the second largest festival in Rockford located on the grounds of Boylan Catholic High School. This year the fest includes entertainment from Italian Folk Dance Troupes to groups and soloists. Sample Italian food, play Bocci ball and shop for Italian crafts.

Rockford known as “The Forest City” due to its beautiful parks and gardens is also home to Illinois’ largest water park, theater, shopping, museums, entertainment and golfing.
