About the town
With over 22 miles of shoreline within the city limits, the town is known for its historic architecture, century old downtown parks, is referred to as the “Tree City” for its award winning floral displays and is identified with Cedar Point, awarded as the best amusement park in the world by Amusement Today. Activities are plentiful from relaxing at one of the gazebos, to fishing in Lake Erie, visiting a museum, gallery, antique store, golfing, biking, seeing lighthouses, attending the theatre, spelunking, touring a winery, bird watching, camping, and visiting a few caverns.
