We enjoyed a great trip to Frankenmuth. It is truly a unique town that feels like you’re in the middle of Germany while only being a few hours from Chicago. Brush up on your lyrics for “Roll Out The Barrell” and “Edelweis”, as you’re sure to hear that a handful of times at one of the authentic restaurants. We even had fun strolling down the picturesque Main Street and over the covered bridge in town. Another fun stop is Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland which is open year around. They claim to be the world’s largest Christmas store, and I can’t imagine there would be one larger. It seems about 4 football fields long. You are guaranteed to find very unique ornament for even your most unique of friends. My Mom even found a glass ornament in the shape of the Polish flag for Grace. Hilarious!
